Product Description
420 stainless steel coil is a medium carbon stainless steel. Under normal circumstances, 420 stainless steel has limited heat resistance and goes better with low-temperature working environments. Its maximum operating temperature is usually 650°C. Heat treatment processes, such as solution treatment and quenching and annealing, can be performed to improve the heat resistance of 420 stainless steel,. These treatments can add to the material's grain boundary structure and grain size, thereby improving its heat resistance. The heat resistance of 420 stainless steel is lower than other heat-resistant stainless steels and is suitable for use in low temperature environments. So it is recommended to choose stainless steel materials with better heat resistance in high temperature applications.
